![]() ![]() Here is my Stampin’ Up’s Eclectic Layers thinlits creation. To finish off my card, I added some rhinestones. I pulled my sentiment form the Eastern Beauty set as it has 2 curved sentiments in the set. This circle was glued down with the opening where the stems were. I cut part of this circle away to form an opening for the stems. Using the largest and the second largest Stitched Shape die, I cut out a circle. I used the stencil created when the 2 flowers were cut out to sponge on some Pool Party ink. I used the ink in the lid to watercolor my flowers using Perfect Plum ink. I did extend the stems as I wanted the flowers taller. ![]() I used the Eclectic Layers thinlits and cut out 2 of the flowers from the Shimmery White card stock. She took a die cut of tulips and cut them out. I loved her card so I decided to see if I could do it with Stampin’ Up supplies. I played with another idea that I saw from one of my favorite card artists Birgit Edblom. I am planning on downsizing as it is just me and I don’t need all that space to clean! I know some things about my house so I will share them with you over the next few month. Last year I saw a home by one of the builders I am thinking about. This is the perfect way to check out the houses and to be able to include some of these ideas in a new home. I am anxious to see what new gadgets they have come out with since last year. After that we are going to do the Parade of Homes. I know quite a few but I am hoping to meet some new ones. I am hoping to meet some new ladies from the development. The “I ♥ U” was cut with the thinlit from Label Card Thinlits and glued down. Here is my Stampin’ Up’s Eclectic Layers thinlits creation. I decided that the ribbon needed some bling, so I cut roughly 12″ of Gold Cord Trim and placed it under the ribbon.Pearls were randomly added to the heart as well. White Accents were placed in the middle of the flowers. The flowers were cut, scrunched and glued down to the heart.Before placing it onto the card base, I stapled the Burlap ribbon down onto the layers. Having the Die Brush to quickly poke out the small pieces made this task fast and easy! The Watermelon Wonder heart was fit into the Whisper White negative and adhered to Crumb Cake (4 x 5 1/4″) layer. After choosing my colors, I ran a large scrap of Watermelon Wonder and a piece of Whisper White cardstock (3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″) through my Big Shot using the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit.I just love this color combination of Rich Razzleberry and Watermelon Wonder! I go through spurts with colors and I bet you can tell that Rich Razzleberry is a current favorite of mine.It’s enough for me to hear how much they enjoy getting my cards. Since they never come to my blog (sigh) it is totally safe to post beforehand LOL. I am back making cards for my kids and thought a Valentines card made from Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits would be great to send them this month.
